| Ryan Kaler, MS, PT
Ryan Kaler is a native Texan with a Masters in Physical Therapy from the Allied Health School at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He also holds a Kinesiology undergraduate degree from the University of Northern Colorado and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
As a former NCAA wrestler, Ryan has practical, first-hand, experience in a wide variety of physical training situations. Ryan is able to explain strength and conditioning for participation in higher-level sports from first-hand experience. An important element of treatment is dealing with the recovery psychology involved when a competitive athlete must rebound from orthopedic surgery or sports related injuries. Having dealt with these situations during his competitive years, Ryan is especially sensitive to the needs of the athlete. Ryan focused much of his graduate work on the treatment of orthopedic injuries that result from sports activities.
Ryan is also experienced with the rehabilitation of recovering cancer patients from his work at the Rocky Mountain Cancer Rehabilitation Institute during his undergraduate years. Ryan provided hands-on exercise training during that time of great emotional and physical difficulty for his patients.
Ryan brings a calm and steady personality to the team, with a good sense of humor that relaxes patients and enhances the recovery experience.
